WAYS TO WORK WITH SUSAN
Start with what you're navigating.
You don't need to know the name of the service you need.
Susan works with people at many different points in a relationship — strengthening connection, making difficult decisions, navigating separation or family conflict, rebuilding after change, and understanding patterns that keep repeating.
Start with the situation that feels closest to yours.

What are you navigating?
More than one path may fit. That's normal.
Relationships rarely fit neatly into one category, and the kind of support that helps may change over time.
FIND YOUR PATH
WE WANT TO STRENGTHEN OR REPAIR OUR RELATIONSHIP.
Maybe communication has become harder, connection has changed, trust has been hurt, intimacy feels different, or the same conflicts keep repeating.
Susan helps couples understand what's happening beneath the pattern and explore what may help them reconnect, repair, and relate differently.
COUPLES SUPPORT
The primary couples pathway for recurring conflict, disconnection, trust, communication, intimacy, and relationship change. The page clarifies when clinical psychotherapy or distinct non-clinical coaching, education, or guided support is appropriate.
HOW SUPPORT IS SCOPED
Couples Support explains the distinctions between licensed psychotherapy and non-clinical coaching, relationship education, and guided support. Eligibility and scope are clarified before services begin.
INTIMACY & REPAIR WORK
Focused support around emotional connection, resentment, trust, vulnerability, closeness, and patterns that interfere with intimacy.
COUPLES KETAMINE-ASSISTED THERAPY
A specialized clinical option for appropriately screened couples who may understand their patterns intellectually but continue getting pulled back into familiar emotional reactions.
FIND YOUR PATH
I'M NOT SURE WHETHER I WANT TO STAY.
You may care deeply about the relationship and still feel uncertain about whether continuing makes sense — or whether meaningful repair is possible.
Susan can help create space to slow the process down, understand what's happening, and make a more thoughtful decision about what comes next.
RELATIONSHIP CLARITY & DISCERNMENT
For couples where one or both partners are uncertain about continuing the relationship.
DISCERNMENT COACHING
A distinct non-clinical format that may be appropriate for some couples, subject to goals, location, and service eligibility.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR OPTIONS
Begin with the relationship crossroads itself, not a package or a preselected professional format. Susan can help clarify which work may be appropriate.

WE'RE SEPARATING, DIVORCED, OR NAVIGATING CO-PARENTING.

Susan works with people before, during, and long after separation.

Not every difficult relationship fits neatly into couples therapy or divorce.

I WANT TO UNDERSTAND MY PATTERNS AND WHAT COMES NEXT.
Maybe you're dating again, rebuilding after a major relationship change, feeling lonely or disconnected, or noticing familiar patterns you don't want to carry into the next chapter.
Sometimes the question isn't simply “How do I fix this relationship?” It's “What do I want to understand about myself before I move forward?”
GROUPS & GUIDED SUPPORT
Groups and guided-growth experiences offer opportunities to reflect on relationships, identity, recurring patterns, life transitions, and rebuilding.

EXPLORE LEARN WITH SUSANNOT SURE WHERE TO BEGIN?
You don't have to choose the right service on your own.
Sometimes the hardest part is knowing what kind of help actually fits.
A brief, no-fee inquiry conversation is the general first step: Susan can learn what you are navigating, your location, and which professional scope may fit. The paid 3-Session Clarity Package is an optional, structured way to begin for some relationship questions—not a universal prerequisite.
It may be especially useful when:
- The situation feels complicated
- More than one pathway seems relevant
- You're unsure whether you need therapy, coaching, mediation, or another kind of support
- You want to understand the problem before committing to a longer process

FOR CLINICIANSMEDIATION
Mediation can create a more workable way forward.
Susan brings relational insight and mediation experience to difficult decisions and ongoing conflicts.
Mediation may address divorce agreements, co-parenting decisions, family conflicts, and other appropriate relationship or family disputes. The goal is a structured, neutral process for working through issues and finding workable agreements where possible.
Mediation is distinct from psychotherapy. Susan does not provide legal advice.
GROUPS & GUIDED SUPPORT
You don't always have to do the work alone.
Groups & Guided Support is a primary pathway in its own right, with experiences related to divorce, life transitions, relationships, personal growth and specialized clinical work. The specific group determines the format and eligibility.
A 15-minute inquiry call is a free first conversation to ask questions and see whether a group may be worth exploring. For groups that require an intake, the intake is a separate paid conversation that gives Susan more time to get to know you and understand what you hope to gain from the group. From there, Susan considers fit, availability, participant location, and the needs and makeup of the group before offering a place. Neither an inquiry nor an intake guarantees a place.

THERAPY
Susan M. Regan, LMFT
California License #31600
Massachusetts Marriage and Family Therapist License #1924
Psychotherapy is available to eligible clients who are physically located in California or Massachusetts at the time services are provided. Clinical care has separate assessment and consent requirements.
COACHING & EDUCATION
Coaching and guided support, when offered, are distinct from psychotherapy and not substitutes for clinical care. Coaching, education, mediation, groups, workshops, and other non-clinical offerings have different scopes and eligibility requirements, which may vary based on the nature of the service and participant location.
MEDIATION
Mediation is a separate neutral process, not psychotherapy or legal advice. Eligibility depends on the matter, participant location, Susan's role, and applicable jurisdictional requirements. Discernment, clinical KAP and group formats are explained on their distinct destination pages.
Sometimes understanding the pattern is the first step.

You don't need to know exactly what kind of help you need.
Start with what you know now.
Maybe you want to repair something important. Maybe you're uncertain. Maybe the relationship has changed but the conflict hasn't ended. Maybe you're rebuilding and don't want to repeat the same patterns.
Susan can help you begin by understanding what's happening — and what kind of next step may actually fit.
An inquiry is for fit and scope; it is not psychotherapy intake and does not itself establish a therapist-client relationship.
