GROUPS & GUIDED SUPPORT

Groups & Guided Support

Sometimes it helps to work through what you’re experiencing alongside other people who understand something about the territory.

Susan’s groups create structured spaces for reflection, connection, greater self-understanding, and change. Some focus on a particular life transition. Others explore relationships, emotional patterns, identity, or personal growth.

The format, eligibility, and professional scope vary by group. Groups are a direct pathway to support—not something you must access through another service or community membership.

Explore groups by theme

Find a group based on what you are navigating, rather than needing to choose a therapy, coaching, or other professional category first. Each dedicated group page contains current details about participation, scheduling, and requirements.

Divorce & Life Transition

Support for adjusting to separation, divorce, shifting roles, and the changes that follow.

The First Year — Divorce Support Group

An ongoing divorce support group for the first stages of separation and life after divorce, focused on adjustment, stability, identity, and rebuilding. An initial eight-week commitment may be followed by continued participation.

For: People navigating separation or divorce

Strong Moms, New Chapters

An ongoing Divorce Support Group for Moms exploring identity, relationship change, emotional adjustment, and motherhood through separation or divorce. The group has an initial eight-week commitment, with the option to continue afterward.

For: Mothers navigating divorce and changing family life

Relationships & Connection

Space to explore how we relate, communicate, handle vulnerability, and stay engaged when relationships feel difficult.

Men’s Group | Healing Through Relationships

Explore the tendency to pull away when hurt or unsure, recognize what happens before shutdown, put feelings into words, and take the risk of letting another person know what is really happening. Practice saying what matters and staying engaged in difficult conversations.

For: Men seeking greater emotional connection and relational growth

Personal Growth & Rebuilding

Room for future groups about self-understanding, emotional patterns, identity, rebuilding after change, noticing how we show up in relationships, and making more conscious choices. No specific group is currently advertised in this category.

Continuing Support

Continuing the Work

Explore the existing continuing-support pathway for people who want to keep reflecting and growing after an earlier phase of relationship or life-transition work. Its current purpose, availability, and final positioning still require Susan’s confirmation.

For: People looking for ongoing support after previous work

Specialized Clinical Groups

Clinical group psychotherapy is distinct from general guided support and follows clinical screening, eligibility, and consent requirements.

Relationship-Focused Group Therapy & KAP

A specialized relationship-focused clinical group involving ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, with separate psychotherapy and medical requirements. This is not a general non-clinical support group.

For: Eligible participants seeking a specialized relationship-focused clinical group

Format: Psychotherapy Group

Additional ways to learn and reflect

Focused workshops and guided learning may address recurring relationship patterns, emotional connection, discernment, family transitions, and rebuilding. These are separate formats from group psychotherapy and may be offered as specific opportunities become available.

Groups & Guided Support remains the permanent home for current and future group pathways, including personal-growth and relationship-focused offerings that may also appear elsewhere in Susan’s services.

Inquiry, intake, and admission are different steps

Start by exploring the group that feels most relevant to you.

A 15-minute inquiry call is free and offers a chance to briefly talk with Susan about what you’re looking for, ask initial questions, and see whether it makes sense to continue the conversation.

For groups that require an intake, the intake is a separate paid conversation. It gives Susan more time to get to know you, understand what you’re navigating, hear what you hope to gain from the group, and explore whether the group may be a good fit.

From there, Susan considers fit, current availability, participant location, and the needs and makeup of the group before offering a place.

Neither an inquiry nor an intake guarantees admission, and each group may have its own participation, scheduling, and commitment requirements.

Optional ongoing connection and learning

Relatable Community may provide an additional opportunity for learning, conversation, and connection around relationships and change. Community membership is not required to inquire about or participate in Susan’s professional groups or services, and the community is not their enrollment gateway.

A place for what comes next

Groups evolve as needs change. Susan may develop future offerings focused on relationships, personal growth, identity, emotional patterns, or major life transitions. New offerings will appear here when confirmed, with their own descriptions, eligibility, and participation information.

Each group has its own professional scope

Group topics and Susan’s professional background do not, by themselves, determine whether a particular group is psychotherapy, coaching, education, or another guided format. The format must be confirmed for each offering rather than inferred from phrases such as “therapist-led.”

Relationship-Focused Group Therapy & KAP is a psychotherapy group. The First Year, Strong Moms, New Chapters, Men’s Group | Healing Through Relationships, and Continuing the Work still require Susan’s explicit group-by-group classification. No clinical or non-clinical classification is implied for those four offerings here.

Psychotherapy is available to eligible clients who are physically located in California or Massachusetts at the time services are provided. Other formats have their own scope, participant-location considerations, and applicable requirements.

Find a group that fits where you are now.

Explore the group pages above, then reach out with questions about fit, eligibility, and current availability. Some groups have a required intake before any placement decision; an inquiry is not admission.
